Spring Trenches

How many times have we told you that it’s springtime in New York?  Not enough!  The winter wind-down seemed like an especially gloomy one, so the recent sunshiney days have felt heaven-sent.  All New Yorkers are well aware, however, that April spells r-a-i-n (this Friday doesn’t look promising…), so in an effort to be prepared, the following are my favorite trenches for work and play, plus some suggestions on where to find your own.

GREEN GREEN GREEN.  It’s the best color, and you know it.

Surprise – it’s checkered inside!  Please disregard the fact that this is a slightly “flasher-esque” view of the inside of the trench, because you need to see how great the inside is!

Where should you go to find your own?  There are lots of options out there at this time of here, so here are some of my favorites:

Satin! Target ($39.99)

Color! Leproust Vintage: Size Medium ($55)

Classic! Modcloth ($89.99)

Piping! Modcloth ($99.99)

Flare! Walter Twill ($104.40)

Puffy Collar! Elie Tahari ($172.80)

Shoutout to Maine! L.L. Bean Signature ($185.00)

Zebra! J. Crew ($188.00)

Tiered! Anthropologie ($188.00)

Meredith’s Trenches:

Green: Gina Michele : ($32)

Tan : Banana Republic ($80 on sale)

Black : H&M ($40)
