Vintage for the Office

Earlier this week, we brought you some great photography and fashion-forward outfits from the showroom of sustainable style maven, Sammy Davis. We knew you didn’t have enough, so here are the promised SDV outfitted looks. Also, don’t forget to attend Sammy’s Shesthefirst.org fundraiser this Sunday from 2:00pm – 7:00pm at 144 West 86th Street, Apt. 2B, and here are the deets (Facebook login required). You’d be picking up some fabulous finds and helping a Haitian students pay for schooling and textbooks! What could be more rewarding?

Vintage-inspiration!

The ruffle detail on this shirt was what drew me to it (and what ultimately lured me to pick it up!)

Super cute bonnet-like hat from the 40s. LOVE!

Loving this retro shirt. It’s a little too shiny for my midtown lawfirm, but with a pair of wide-leg pants and some gold hoops, it would be perfect for a 70’s inspired night out on the town. For a more modern look, pair with a mini skirt and some stilettos!

Fixing Mere’s buttons. That blazer would be perfect for the office with a pair of skinny black trousers!

Whoa … close-up!  Great color combination, though, right?  And the tassle doubling as a belt is such a great idea.  It’s all thanks to Sammy!

Rock star.

We hope to see you this Sunday!
