First Giveaway on Cubicle Chic!

Giveaway Necklace

Dearest readers: We can’t say enough how much we love and appreciate you for checking out Cubicle Chic and interacting with us on a daily basis! So, when words can’t quite do the trick, gifts most certainly can 🙂

We are offering this beautiful necklace, called “The Widow’s Lament in Springtime,” by Glow of Glowstoes – an Etsy shop – to one lucky reader as a way of saying thanks to all of you. Glow’s whimsical designs have a strong vintage feel with lovely personal accents like a slightly tattered silk bow or a soft, black feather. You’ll even notice tasteful seasonable pieces, like the perfect skull necklace for your stylish Halloween weekend. We love Glow’s work and are so pleased that she followed her sister’s sage advice to share her vintage revival designs with the rest of the world through her Esty shop!

To win this necklace, you only have to do three things:

(1) check out Glow’s store here and choose your favorite item;

(2) go to Cubicle Chic on Facebook and “like” us (if you already do then AWESOME); and

(3) leave a comment on our Facebook wall about how you would incorporate your favorite Glowstoes piece into your work wardrobe.

Ta da! You’re entered.

The giveaway ends at midnight EST this Thursday, October 28. A winner will be chosen at random and announced on Friday. Good luck!

  1. What a great giveaway! I really like the Upcycled Seeleton Key earrings on Glow’s Etsy store. As for the necklace, I think it would go great with my grey cashmere sweater tee, a pencil skirt and snakeskin heels.

Great giveaway!! I think she has the most creative shop on Etsy. She is a poet and put her heart and soul into each one of her designs. Each on has a poem and I just dig it all!! She ROCKS!!

  2. Love this giveaway! Such a beautiful necklace… though I’d wear just about anything in their store, including the challenge of incorporating a skull necklace into an office outfit 😉

I love the CHAIN REACTION IV necklace – so cool!!

So first of all, what a fabulous name for the piece (“The Widow’s Lament in Springtime”). I think my favorite piece from their Etsy page is “Crowned.” (The ring) I would definitely wear that with something simple and casual, and have that be the focal point…since there is literally NO dress code where I work (yay internet start ups!) I would probably wear it with some black leggings, a black tank top and a comfy grey wrap knit sweater that hangs open and kind of drapes. Oh and can’t forget my grey motorcycle boots (even though I’m terrified of riding motorcycles…oh well!)

  5. Love it! The Chain reaction III is gorgeous!

Liked you on facebook and commented 🙂

I love the necklace you are giving away! I also went to the online store and really like A Rose by Any Other Name necklace (I think that is the correct name) – it is a dusty pink rose on a chain.

  7. I love that shop! It has some really unique things!
My favorite is the THE WIDOW necklace 🙂
I like them on Facebook as Katie Smith and I posted on their wall!
